Peter’s origin story about VVVO.BIZ:
After almost thirty years in Academic Technology at Arizona State University, I retired to sing with and to video the performances of the North Valley Chorale, in Phoenix, Arizona. In January 2020 I decided to organize my videography efforts in the Valley of the Sun (Phoenix area) by creating Valley Videography, LLC. As the pandemic struck the country just two months later, my videography efforts were focused on pre-recording and editing congregation-free church services to be streamed on YouTube and Facebook, on Sunday mornings. There are samples of these video-edited recordings on the Valley Videography site.

With the North Valley Chorale transitioning from in-person concert performances to a Virtual Holiday concert in December 2020, I did most of the audio editing to combine the 30 to 40 singer recordings for the 90-minute Tidings of Joy virtual concert. On the Valley Videography site, there is a video I made of the piano and handbell accompaniment to Sussex Carol, with the nine handbell parts played by one performer. I think it is quite entertaining.
Relocating to Charlottesville, Virginia in the Fall of 2021, and getting more involved in the voiceover field to record tens of thousands of graduates’ names for various universities, I have expanded the services of the existing LLC to include voiceovers. Now living in the shadow of the Blue Ridge Mountains, a stone’s throw from the Shenandoah Valley, it seemed appropriate to update the business name to “Valley Videography & VoiceOvers,” with the URL ‘VVVO.BIZ.’”
